Job description

Electrical Supervisor / Foreman – Federal Project (Lexington, KY)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Foreman to oversee a crew of commercial/industrial electricians working at a Federal facility in Lexington, KY.

This position will be responsible for supervising electrical crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications. Most of the work is indoors, and Davis-Bacon prevailing wages apply.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate a crew of electricians on-site
  • Plan and assign daily work activities based on project schedules
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Ensure all work meets NEC requirements and project specifications
  • Coordinate with project management and other trades on-site
  • Monitor job progress and maintain productivity
  • Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving field issues when necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years commercial/industrial electrical experience
  • Prior experience leading or supervising electrical crews
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license required
