You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.
Job Summary
As a Shared Services Rep for our client, you will be responsible for managing secondary insurance accounts across multiple payer types, including Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Blue Cross, Workers' Compensation, Auto, and other non-Medicare plans. You will support Business Services Office operations by handling complex secondary account follow-up and providing centralized claim denial routing and resolution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage secondary insurance accounts across various payer types.
  • Provide claim denial routing and resolution.
  • Utilize internal systems like Oracle, SharePoint, and the Patient Accounting System.
  • Offer front desk coverage at the Business Services Office.
  • Support the onboarding and development of new team members through training assistance.
  • Participate in accounts receivable special projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Role requires on-site presence five days per week.
  • Desire to learn in a constant state of training environment.

Skills
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Soft skills: Strong desire to learn and adaptability to constant training.

Additional Requirements
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
