Interim HR Coordinator

This Interim HR Coordinator opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the center of the employee experience. You'll play a critical role supporting onboarding, employee communications, HR systems, and daily HR operations within a growing organization. If you're highly organized, customer-service oriented, and enjoy balancing administrative responsibilities with employee interaction, this role could be a great fit.

Worksite Location: Onsite โ€“ Dayton, MN

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $26-$38, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage onboarding activities for new employees
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and HR-related inquiries
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy
  • Support employee lifecycle activities including promotions, transfers, and status changes
  • Partner with managers, recruiters, and HR team members to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Generate reports and support HR data management activities
  • Assist with employee communications, documentation, and compliance-related processes
  • Support benefits, payroll, and HR administrative requests as needed
  • Help maintain organized HR records, systems, and workflows
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or Junior HR Generalist experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Experience supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • HRIS experience required; Paylocity experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently
  • Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
