About the Opportunity - Interim HR Generalist
We are partnering with a growing, family-owned organization to identify an Interim HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations. This role offers hands-on exposure across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Ideal for someone who thrives in a highly collaborative, service-driven HR function.

Key Responsibilities - Interim HR Generalist

  • Support payroll processes including timecard audits, PTO tracking, commissions, wage notices, and payroll documentation
  • Maintain HRIS data (ADP Enterprise), including employee changes, reporting, and organizational updates
  • Coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities, from job postings to orientation and compliance
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with personnel files, I-9s, and related documentation
  • Assist with employee relations matters such as investigations, corrective actions, and performance support
  • Prepare HR reports, communications, and workforce data as needed
  • Partner cross-functionally with leadership, operations, finance, IT, and staffing partners
  • Act as a primary HR contact, promoting consistency, compliance, confidentiality, and employee support
  • Support audit activities, training assignments, and other HR administrative functions

Qualifications - Interim HR Generalist
Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience handling confidential information with discretion
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across diverse teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated experience handling employee relations and conflict resolution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ADP Enterprise or similar HRIS/payroll systems
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environments
  • Prior experience supporting payroll administration and compliance initiatives
