The Role

The Shared Services Associate is responsible for delivering data-driven administrative support to internal teams. This role combines analytical expertise with operational excellence, leveraging tools such as Power BI and MS Excel to transform raw data into actionable insights. The role ensures smooth operations related to exam administration, billing, building dashboards, processing applications, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate reporting within a defined scope of responsibilities.

The Responsibilities
  • Serve as a first-level resource for delivering timely and professional responses to inquiries, backed by data insights.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational visibility and decision-making.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources (Zendesk, billing systems, exam platforms) to identify trends and improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments such as Finance, Test Delivery, Client Services, and Account Management to support overall client satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Generate internal reports and automated analytics pipelines to support department efficiency, visibility, and oversight.
  • Maintain data integrity and governance standards across all reporting tools and datasets.
  • Present analytics findings to stakeholders in clear, non-technical terms to drive process improvements.

Desired Attributes
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, administrative support, or operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI — including DAX, data modelling, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel — including Equations, data modelling, and dashboard development.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization); familiarity with Power Query is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL or other data querying tools for extracting and transforming datasets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate analytical outputs.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned, including quality improvement and service excellence initiatives.
