About the LEAD Program

Through this early professionals program, Associates will receive operational and technical training, hands-on industry experience and develop leadership skills with opportunities to specialize in one of our many business areas across the program's tracks and concentrations. 

During your time in the Medicare Service Center concentration of the LEAD Program, you will receive curriculum and practical training preparing you to function as a leader in a Shared Service Center (SSC). The training will focus on enhancing your leadership skills and train you in all aspects in the hospital business office functions. This area of Parallon, HCA Healthcare is responsible for many Medicare revenue cycle functions of the hospital including, but not limited to, collections, underpayments / overpayments, insurance company partnerships, accounting, billing, finance and much more.


Qualifications

  • 12-24 month commitment to the LEAD Program
  • BS or BA degree required (or working towards the soon completion of a BA or BS). Business, Finance, and Healthcare Administration  degrees are a plus.
  • MBA or MHA degree preferred. 
  • Overall GPA must be a minimum 3.0 for BS or BA and MBA (if applicable)
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance billing, healthcare management or finance is preferred.
  • Experience with analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel) are helpful
