We know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team so we are seeking sales representatives with a history of overachievement to represent innovative solutions in risk management.

As a Senior Sales Representative, you will be a driving force among our sales team, accelerating revenue growth by developing new client relationships and deepening existing partnerships within the industry. To accomplish this, you must have strong executive presence, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute on behalf of the client. Your ability to work quickly, honestly, and effectively to build relationships with our customers will set the bar for our other sales professionals.

In this role you will:
  • Build and maintain market and industry expertise, tracking industry trends, sales volume, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and gain customer interest
  • Represent Riverโ€™s Edge as a thought leader in the risk management space, both with clients and to the broader public
  • Regularly connect with existing accounts to maintain professional business relations, stay current with their strategic needs and facilitate their requests, and create innovation solutions to solve their concerns
  • Research and cold call to identify and engage potential customers, using your existing professional network
  • Maintain integrity and honesty, and deal ethically with consumers, no matter the situation
  • Create and deliver sales presentations that are compelling, accurate, and informative
  • Maintain and update an organized agenda detailing quotas, territory analyses, and results
  • Serve as a mentor to junior team members, encouraging team work, assisting in developing effective delivery solutions, encouraging high quality work, and motivating their professional development
What we're looking for
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business or related field
  • 10-20 years of experience in a sales position or sales leadership roles
  • Strong quantitative and probabilistic skills
  • Demonstrated interest in playing games and solving puzzles is a plus
  • Comfortability and credibility engaging with senior executives in the Fortune 1000
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability to adapt style and approach with different buyers
  • Strong learning agility in regard to buyers and products, with an ability to display and share this knowledge in a confident mannerPassion for finding and selling to new customers and the versatility to adjust to different personas
  • An understanding of business relationships and how to develop healthy client engagement
  • A track record of success in closing sales and delivering quality product with a determination to meet and exceed new sales goals
