Job description

National Sales Executive 

What We Need .

Corpay is currently looking to hire a National Sales Executive.  This position falls under our Cross-Border line of business and will be located in New York City. In this role, you will act as a key driver of new business growth, responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting corporate prospects into long-term clients. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, Dealing, and various shared services teams and contribute to the team's overall success.

How We Work

As a National Sales Executive you will be expected to work in our New York City office.  Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Roles Responsibilities

  • Achieving monthly targets by identifying, accessing, and selling prospects on the value Corpay Cross Border can bring to their respective business
  • Convincing a prospect to move from a warm lead to becoming a Corpay Cross Border client by completing an application to conduct a first-time trade with an experienced in-house Corpay Cross Border Account Executive/Trader
  • Setting and attending self-generated 1st appointments with a prospect of conducting either a phone discussion or a face-to-face meeting for companies with exposures between 2MM to 5MM per annum
  • Setting and attending an appointment with experienced National Account Manager, for any self-generated 1st appointments with exposure exceeding more than 5MM per annum
  • Conducting prospect demonstrations of Corpay Cross Border Online as an efficient and effective payment system option
  • Conducting innovative prospecting programs such as e-marketing campaigns, webinars, list sourcing, cold calling, trade association penetration and more
  • Continually market to those prospects who are not ready to move to Corpay Cross Border by making periodic calls and emails, sending timely market updates and marketing materials
  • Making regular updates to the company CRM system, Salesforce.com
  • Sourcing and generating leads for potential new business
  • Creating a positive impression of Corpay Cross Border with prospects by acting professionally and providing timely and accurate follow-up.

Qualifications & Skills 

  • 5+ years of inside and/or outside sales experience; telesales experience is a definite asset
  • Knowledge of the financial markets will be a plus, along with payment process understanding (training will be given)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce.com)
  • Experience in sales acquiring new customer relationships in the global and domestic payments business
  • Understanding of the corporate foreign exchange process and flow of funds from the client through to the beneficiaries.
  • Understanding of Compliance as it relates to the Corporate Payments Industry
  • Proven track record of success sufficient 1st appointments generated
  • Understanding and demonstrable success in closing small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of professionalism
  • Tenacity, resilience and a positive outlook
  • Credibility, and confidence to liaise with Directors, and C-Level Executives of large corporations
  • Driven to succeed
  • Proven ability to deliver results within required deadlines
  • Ability to work in a metrics reporting environment

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 + OTE, based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process. Additional compensation and benefits, including incentive programs, health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits (where applicable), may also be provided.
