What you’ll do:

As a Security Sales Consultant, you’ll drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new residential and small business opportunities for SafeTouch’s integrated security solutions. Most leads are self-generated, making this an ideal role for a proactive, results-driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating new opportunities, and driving results in a fast-paced sales environment.

You’ll also:

  • Prospecting and generating new business through networking, outreach, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Selling integrated security solutions to residential and small-to-medium business customers while growing and retaining existing accounts.
  • Building strong customer relationships by identifying needs, presenting tailored solutions, and delivering compelling proposals and system demonstrations.
  • Managing sales activities, follow-up strategies, and territory plans to consistently meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Partnering with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, customer satisfaction, and successful system implementation.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and local market opportunities.
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and licensing/certification requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support evolving business needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales, customer-facing, or business development experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a proactive prospecting mindset.
  • Ability to quickly identify customer needs and recommend customized solutions.
  • Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office, iPhones, iPads, CRM systems, and other business applications; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of integrated security systems, intrusion detection, surveillance, or access control systems is a plus.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to obtain required state certifications within the first 3 months of employment, as required by law for home security sales.
  • Pass drug screening and background check requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with an insurable driving record and proof of automobile liability and property damage coverage.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and other site conditions safely.
  • Stand, walk, sit at a desk, and move equipment or materials up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Observe details at close range, take notes, handle products, operate technology, and present information clearly.
  • Read documents and presentations on electronic devices or in hard copy, and exchange accurate information in person, by phone, in writing, or electronically.
  • Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations, interpersonal interactions, and client engagements.
  • Drive to client sites or other business locations as required.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to take counts, measurements, or perform other tasks safely.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Work/Base Location: Orlando, FL

Work Hours/Availability: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Daytime), Monday through Friday. Flexible schedule to support client appointments, business demands, and occasional weekend work, when needed.

Travel: Mainly local, but there may be occasional out-of-town travel for training, customer meetings, or industry events.
