Position Overview:
The Security Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for commercial security solutions, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, monitoring services, and other services. This role requires a motivated sales professional with strong relationship building skills and a passion for delivering exceptional overall client experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Sales Development: Identify and prospect new customers, including security directors, facility and property managers, business owners, and general/electrical contractors, to generate sales opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their unique security needs.
  • Solution Selling: Present tailored security system solutions to customers, showcasing the value of Silco and the products and services we offer.
  • Proposal Creation: Prepare accurate and detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts for customers.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to position our solutions effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical staff, project managers, operations and support teams to ensure seamless project execution to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in security integration systems, technology, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial security systems, including video solutions, access control, and intrusion systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
Compensation:

Compensation ranges based on experience, performance, and accumulation of projects and can range from $75,000 to $125,000+ per year.
