Job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Fire Alarm, Intrusion Alarm,CCTV and Access Control Systems.

This is a full-time on-site role in New York, NY for an Alarm Technician at Diamond Security Inc. The Alarm Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security alarm systems, as well as conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting issues as needed.

Responsibilities
- Install, program, maintain, and repair security alarm systems
- Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with security systems
- Collaborate with clients to determine their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan system installations
- Test systems to ensure proper functioning
- Provide training to clients on system operation
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations

Requirements
- Proficiency in NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements for security systems
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot issues with intrusion detection systems (IDS)
- Experience in building and configuring security systems
- Possess a valid certificate as an Alarm Technician is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus
