Overview
City Security Services offers personalized and premium security services to all clients that entrust their safety to us.
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing team at City Security Services, a leading provider of contractual security solutions in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and business development within the security industry, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calls, email campaigns, social outreach, and events.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand prospective client requirements and align them with our security solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective lead generation strategies.
  • Schedule and conduct introductory meetings, presentations, and product demos for prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, prospects, and pipeline data in the CRM system.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers across industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, critical infrastructure, and more.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation or improvement.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads, meetings set, and revenue contribution.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the private security sector.
  • Strong understanding of security products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify leads, manage complex sales cycles, and close high-value deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions to C-level executives.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
