THE POSITION: Smart Home Security Consultant

Primary responsibility is generating new residential and small business customers from company leads as well as from self-generated prospecting. Our Smart Home Sales Consultants provide onsite evaluations for residential and commercial applications.

Day-to-day:

  • Consult with clients to educate, design, and implement the installation and service of products
  • Manage relationships with sales center representatives in assigned communities
  • Identify and schedule appointments with new homeowners and businesses via prospecting, obtaining referrals, partnerships, social media engagements
  • Responsible for the calling on new builder accounts to identify new homeowners, schedule sales consultations and sell home technology services
  • Sell/use cutting-edge technologies that help create smarter homes and businesses through the use of mobile apps that allow customers to remotely secure and interact with their homes and businesses from their smartphones, tablets and PC's from anywhere in the world
  • Ability to walk clients through the use of home automation, such as the ability to watch live video from your smartphone or lock/unlock doors, control thermostats, lighting, garage doors and much more
