About the Role

Zinn Insurance is expanding its Operations Department. We are seeking a methodical, detail-driven Invoice, Billing, and Payroll Specialist to manage critical payroll, benefits, and billing operations for our employer clients.

This is a long-term career role designed for someone who thrives in a highly predictable, orderly, and process-driven environment. We will provide clear workflows, established checklists, and training—your mission is to execute them with zero preventable errors.

What You'll Do

  • Payroll Operations: Manage 20+ client payroll auditing registers prior to release to ensure 100% on-time processing and compliance.
  • Benefits & Carrier Billing: Process benefit enrollments, onboard/offboard client employees, and align payroll deductions with benefit elections.
  • Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile monthly carrier premium statements directly with insurance carriers and resolve billing discrepancies proactively.
  • Client Communication: Answer client, employee, and carrier inquiries with a factual, clear, and professional communication style.

  • Logistics: Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX. Willingness to work extended hours when seasonal volume increases.
  • Systems (Nice-to-Have): Experience with Employee Navigator, AgencyBloc, Monday.com, and/or carrier portals.
