Job description

SNELLING is currently seeking a QuickBooks Online Specialist to join an established and growing company in the Tyler area. QuickBooks Online Specialist provides support to the administrative and accounting team department including training, data entry, and invoicing.
This QuickBooks Online Specialist position will be temporary, meaning that SNELLING would partner with you through the consideration and interview process, and then serve as the employer for a probationary period. The value you receive in working with SNELLING is that we consult with you to help highlight your qualifications that are going to be most valued by the client.
This position should have advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online, including setup and maintenance of sales items, invoicing functions, and accounts receivable management. This person will also assist with training a new employee who will be taking over invoicing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with bringing invoicing and Accounts Receivable records up to date
  • Review and verify that QuickBooks Online sales items are properly set up and functioning correctly
  • Enter and maintain sales items within QuickBooks Online
  • Support daily invoicing activities and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Work alongside the current bookkeeping staff to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Train and support a new employee on invoicing procedures and QuickBooks Online processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices

Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is required
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and bookkeeping functions
  • Experience setting up and managing sales items in QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to train and mentor others effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete project objectives within a short-term assignment
