Job Summary

The Salesforce Administrator performs User Management, Data Management, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Process Automation, Change Management, Security Management.

The Salesforce Administrator performs research, analysis, design, configuration, automation (preferably with clicks and no-code or low-code) and then debugs, tests, modifies, implements, and supports all Salesforce products at Mizuho OSI. This person participates in all phases of development life cycle, leads requirements gathering and documentation, and serves as an expert of Salesforce products, continually staying up to date with new Salesforce technology.

The Salesforce Administrator works directly with the business and technical stakeholders to automate and customize the user experience, solving business problems using the Salesforce Platform.

The Salesforce Administrator is also responsible for communicating to and educating end-users on the changes or new product functionality.

The Salesforce Administrator understands system integrations between Salesforce and other systems, either through custom API or middleware tools.

 

Responsibilities:

Partner with the Business Community
  1. Provide support to and serve as a point of contact for internal customers who request routine information, data summaries and/or reports. Share knowledge with internal customers about how to produce their own reports and use the system effectively.
  2. Identify areas of improvement for services provided both internally and outward facing, including measuring and reviewing technology trends. Share results with management.
  3. To be willing to share knowledge and instruct other members of the department and the company, by passing along skills and information to assist them in their development.
  4. Develop, deploy, and report on various user satisfaction metrics, on a quarterly and/ or regular basis as needed and/or required, and under the direction of the IT Applications Manager.
  5. Assist in making requests, routing routine reporting, and defining a process for report requests.
  6. Partner with Business Systems Analysts, for ERP, to assist different functional areas across the company to identify, research, and analyze possible solutions to resolve complex data issues, in a timely manner. Present impact of the recommended solution on the integrated system to the Director of IT Applications and implement approved solutions.
Drive Continuous Improvement in Information Technology
  1. Support the application users for designated business systems, including Salesforce, Salesforce Field service, Pardot, EDI Liaison, and Middleware technologies.
  2. Ensure assigned platforms are highly effective, efficient, and a positive tool to meet business and customer needs.
  3. Participate in project meetings both internally and with other departments and report on the status of analytical tasks and project work.
  4. Design, develop, create, and establish Standard Operating procedures, instructions for respective functions under the direction of the Manager.  Employ specified analytical tools to access data to provide reportable information on all identified Key Metrics for the delivery of optimized services to customers.
  5. Manage integrations with Salesforce and other systems, via ETL and/or web services.
  6. Meet aggressive timelines with high quality results.
  7. Undertake extensive program and structural database development tasks.
Focus on Quality Improvement in Business Applications
  1. Implement specified Quality Assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of data generated. Participate in audits and promptly resolve any findings.
  2. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for assigned areas; manage change requests and bugs resulting from the UAT processes, ensuring completion and retesting.
  3. Conduct various audits and analyses,      `managing system improvements, process improvements, and quality programs.
  4. Review business requirements and detailed specs to develop test scripts and testing plans with schedule.
  5. Work on special projects as business needs arise.

  1. Responsible for cleanliness, organization, and overall department appearance.

  5. Understand Mizuho OSI's business objectives and the relationship between the Department and those objectives; to support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements, to maintain the services and quality levels set by Mizuho OSI, and to continually enable Mizuho OSI to be a great place to work.
  6. Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI's internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years related experience with increasing level of responsibility.
  • Must have a broad knowledge of customizing Salesforce, configuring the platform, managing users, and the available features, functions, and capabilities.
  • Proven ability to independently perform Salesforce administration best practices and is able to use the advanced features and functionality to solve a variety of business problems.
  • Understanding Apex, Visualforce, APIs, SOQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and popular Web UI frameworks is desirable.
  • Ability to work with a team or independently, doing business analysis, project scoping, design, integration, implementation, training and customer support.
  • Experience and understanding of Sales cloud, Salesforce Field Service, Pardot, Salesforce Maps and CPQ.
  • Able to provide ongoing recommendations to SMEs and end users on SFDC best practices.
  • Excellent understanding of data and integration architectures, products and techniques, and assessing business intelligence/analytics data gaps in a heterogeneous environment.
  • Ability to clearly express oneself verbally and in writing in the English language (additional languages also preferred) using good grammar, vocabulary, eye contact, and friendly voice inflection with all employees. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Excellent customer focus with a high sense of urgency. Ability to provide excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
