SCOPESALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR
The Salesforce Administrator position serves as internal Product Owner delivered in partnership with sales leadership and external resources. The position has responsibility for the Salesforce eco-system from Sales Cloud, ), Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, and a back-office integration with JTM's Ross ERP system.
The position will be the primary business-side owner of this platform and will own day-to-day administration of the organization by keeping it clean, secure, and adopted after the project is completed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR
Product Ownership (Continuous Improvement)
  • Act as the primary internal Product Owner and single point of contact for the consulting partners implementation team resources supporting the continuous improvement of Salesforce to support strategy.
  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the User Story Backlog, ensuring each story has clear acceptance criteria, priority, and sprint assignment.
  • Represent the needs of business stakeholders in design workshops and sprint reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal resources and external partners to define the continuous improvement projects from design through change management helping develop training plans, communications, and adoption support models for end users.
Salesforce Administration (Ongoing)
  • Administer day-to-day Salesforce configuration: users, profiles, permission sets, roles, and the security model established during the implementation.
  • Maintain and extend declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, approval processes) supporting the delivery of sales opportunity, marketing delivery, trade, promotion, project management and other necessary workflows to support our sales strategies.
  • Own reports, dashboards, and data quality across Sales Cloud, ensuring leadership has accurate real-time visibility into pipeline, marketing, sample ROI, and trade spend.
  • Assist with administration of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), including lead assignment rules, Engagement Studio journeys, and landing pages/forms.
  • Serve as the business-side liaison on the ROSS ERP integration, helping validate field mappings, data flows, and the accuracy of synced records.
  • Provide front-line troubleshooting and support to end users, escalating to then consulting partner when needed.
  • Support the retirement of the legacy Pivotal org, including validation of migrated data.
  • Maintain field-level audit history, data governance standards, and documentation as the org evolves.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSSALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR
  • 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, including Sales Cloud configuration (Opportunities, Accounts, security model, automation).
  • Experience acting as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar business-facing role on Salesforce implementation, ideally alongside an external consulting/SI partner.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) lead journeys, Engagement Studio, and lead scoring/assignment — strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP or back-office integrations (ROSS or a comparable ERP system) is a plus.
  • Intermediate development skills are a plus, including familiarity with Salesforce customization, basic scripting, APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Experience in food, CPG, manufacturing, or distribution environments is a plus.
  • Comfortable managing a prioritized backlog and working within Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT).
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills — able to translate between Sales, Marketing, R&D, Trade, Sampling, Accounting, and technical teams.
  • Project management experience with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, track deliverables, communicate risks, and drive projects from planning through successful adoption.
