About the Role

The Senior Coordinator - Revenue Operations is an integral part of Latham's Practice Office Revenue Operations team. • Ensuring compliance of all processes and systems throughout the revenue lifecycle with relevant internal and external regulation and legislation, including ValueAdded Tax (VAT), Criminal Finances Act Solicitors' Accounts Rules, and money laundering regulations, while proactively identifying and mitigating associated risk
  • Mentoring Revenue Operations team members to create and maintain a highquality, punctual service for the office or practice group, and maintaining regular communication with team members to assist with team development
  • Promoting best practice for matter maintenance to ensure the judicious conversion of work in progress (WIP) to cash, including the accurate opening and timely closure of matters, effective use of billed on account (BOA), and the strategic management of inventory, while exercising discretion to advise on appropriate writeoffs and clearly articulating the financial and business rationale supporting those recommendations
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess welldeveloped and professional interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a teamleadership capacity with a customerservice focus
  • Exhibit organizational skills to manage time well, prioritize effectively, handle multiple deadlines, and supervise the work of others to ensure compliance and accuracy, while using independent judgment for decisionmaking

And have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting
  • A minimum of five (5) years of cumulative professional experience
Benefits & Additional Information

Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance. Eligible employees can participate in Latham's comprehensive benefit program which includes:

  • Healthcare, life and disability insurance
  • A generous 401k plan
  • At least 11 paid holidays per year, and a PTO program that accrues 23 days during the first year of employment and grows with tenure
