Job Description
The Retail Business Analyst supports the Retail organization through reporting, analysis, communication, and operational execution. This role serves as a key liaison between Retail Stores and cross-functional partners, providing data-driven insights that support business decisions while ensuring stores receive accurate, timely, and actionable information.
The Retail Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business performance, identifying trends and opportunities, supporting retail initiatives, and coordinating communication related to promotions, systems, inventory optimization, operational processes, and field execution. This position plays a critical role in supporting the success of the retail fleet.
A day in the life...
Business Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal retail performance metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion, payroll, inventory, and customer trends.

  • Create and maintain recurring retail reporting and dashboards.

  • Identify business opportunities, risks, and trends and provide recommendations to retail leadership.

  • Support field leaders with ad hoc reporting and data requests.

  • Monitor performance against sales plans and key performance indicators.

  • Relate important inventory optimization opportunities to Key partners

  • Monitor Sell through and inventory in stores; communicate needs with Planning & Allocation

Retail Operations Support
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support retail initiatives, promotions, product launches, and operational rollouts.

  • Assist in the execution and communication of operational processes impacting retail stores.

  • Support testing, implementation, and adoption of new systems and tools.

  • Monitor store feedback and identify operational challenges requiring resolution.

Project Management & Process Improvement
  • Support retail projects including new store openings from planning through execution.

  • Assist in developing process documentation and operational best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and store execution.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and communicate outcomes to retail stakeholders.

Store Partnership
  • Serve as a corporate resource and point of contact for stores regarding reporting, operational questions, and process execution.

  • Build strong partnerships with District Managers, Area Managers, Store Managers, and corporate teams.

  • Gather and communicate feedback from stores to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Communications
  • Draft, edit, and distribute communications to retail stores and field leadership.

  • Ensure all communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards.

  • Coordinate communication of promotions, pricing changes, operational updates, training materials, and key business initiatives.

  • Maintain communication resources and reference materials for field teams.

Success Measures
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and communications.

  • This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.

  • This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.

  • The position requires some domestic travel to Retail stores.

  • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.

  • This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
