Job Role: Business Analyst - eCommerce
Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 12-18 Months
Mode of Interview: Phone & in-Person
Contract Type: W2-Contract

Key qualifications:
7+ years of hands-on experience working in large-scale, global content and product catalog management environments wth in-depth industry knowledge on product catalog and product information management systems
Proven successful experience in leading UAT including end to end testing and production validation across platforms and cross-functional teams to ensure system implementations are in compliance with business requirements. You will be accountable for
- User acceptance testing strategy, processes, entry/exit criteria
- User acceptance test planning including resource and schedules in consideration of inter-dependencies and risks
- Test analysis and design, test cases, test scripts preparation and seamless execution
- Issue triage and prioritization
- UAT status report and communication to stake holders effectively
Proactively look for continuous improvement opportunities with the test methodology and best practices to support User Acceptance Testing
Strong business analysis and problem solving skill with root cause analysis is a must in order to triage, troubleshoot, categorize and prioritize UAT issues, and influence teams with data analysis to support their decisions
Strong project management skill in planning and managing test schedules, test resources and risk control across our partners during all test phases
Is self-motivated to take initiatives and thrive in an ambiguous work environment
Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure with a high degree of flexibility
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills across global audiences that include engineering, Content Development, Digital Content Management, Product Management and other partners
Experience in both Agile methodologies and implementation models
Description:
You will partner with business community and system leads to understand business scenarios and define testing framework for our catalog management tools and processes multiple platforms and systems. You will lead the effort in user acceptance test across functions teams.
You will be driving application tests, integration tests and end to end tests from planning, design and analysis to execution and communication.

Qualifications

This involves:
Knowing the DCM specialists (your customers) and their business operations, processes and tools
Defining best-in-class testing framework and strategies to ensure that end to end systems and processes are to support the business goals and meet their requirements
Developing test plans and approaches that promote scalability, smart production practices, and intuitive tools UI
Identifying UAT dependencies (environment, data etc.) and defining test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
Leading UAT execution with functional teams including coordinating resources, tracking and communicating progress, troubleshooting an prioritizing UAT issues, obtaining UAT sign offs from key business stakeholders
Effectively articulating UAT issues to the technology teams, translating use cases into user stories and influencing engineering solution development with your in-depth analysis
Ad part of the UAT, managing business team adoption of these tools and processes through readiness planning, documentation, training, and support
