Growth Equity Investing Analyst Internship: Summer 2027

Susquehanna International Group, LLP

Philadelphia, PA • On-site

Job description

Overview
Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) is a leading growth equity firm focused on high-growth software, internet, and business services companies in the United States, Europe, and Israel. Since 2006, we have invested more than $5.0B in 110+ companies. We are backed by Susquehanna International Group, one of the largest quantitative trading firms in the world, which gives us a differentiated perspective on technology, data, and decision-making.
The Role
This is not a rotational program or a shadowing experience. From day one, summer analysts work alongside senior deal professionals on live investments. Summer analysts will source companies, perform diligence, build financial models, and engage directly with founders and management teams. You will participate in a two-week training program at the start of the summer to build foundational skills, but the real learning happens on active deals. No prior investment experience is required or expected, and this internship is the primary recruiting pipeline for our full-time positions with our investing team.
Our Culture
We set a high bar externally and collaborate closely internally. Interns work as analysts on live deal teams with direct access to everyone at the firm, including managing directors. We maintain an open-door policy and pair each intern with a buddy for day-to-day support. We eat lunch together in the office, and our building has a full gym with a basketball, pickleball, and volleyball court.
What You'll Do
Sourcing & Relationship Building
  • Research and identify high-potential companies through thesis-driven outreach
  • Cold-call and email founders and CEOs to pitch SGE and build relationships
  • Develop and refine your own sourcing strategies-we value persistence, creativity, and initiative in building a pipeline

Analysis & Due Diligence
  • Analyze financial statements and build models for active and prospective investments
  • Conduct market research, evaluate competitive landscapes, interview customers and industry experts
  • Construct investment memos and presentation materials for the partnership and portfolio companies

Portfolio & Firm Support
  • Support portfolio companies on growth initiatives and strategic projects
  • Leverage AI tools and technology to accelerate research, analysis, and decision-making across all workstreams

What we're looking for
We want people who work hard and work smart. Specifically:
  • Persistent and resourceful in sourcing. You are comfortable with outbound outreach. You can pitch our firm, your ideas, and yourself effectively.
  • Strong analytical foundation. You can work through a financial model, spot inconsistencies in data, and structure a clear argument from ambiguous information.
  • Demonstrated use of AI and technology to improve your work. Show us how you have used AI, automation, or technical tools to think better, move faster, or produce higher-quality output.
  • Intellectual curiosity about technology, software, and business models. You follow the space because you are genuinely interested, not just because it is on the job description.
  • Clear communication, written and verbal. You can distill complex findings into a concise, persuasive narrative.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with expected graduation within one year of the internship.
  • Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.

This is a paid internship.
