Requisition Conversion Crew
Requisition Conversion Crew members are in charge of changing the arena floor setup for each event. Candidates should arrive on time to work for scheduled work shifts; follow directions from lead persons, supervisors, and managers; work with a variety of tools including sockets, wrenches, hammers, drills, impact wrench, allen wrenches, and screwdrivers; and check with supervisor prior to clocking out.
Job Responsibilities:
Physically perform and assist with event setups, changeovers, and operational tasks.
Perform facility operational tasks required in keeping up the facility on non-event days.
Act on all relevant information from Operations Manager and Event Manager for event setups and changeovers.
Work closely with operations and other departments on various projects as needed.
Qualification:
A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
A minimum of 2-4 years of related work experience
Working knowledge of facility operations, changeovers and setups
Working knowledge of operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, staging equipment, and equipment used for installing basketball floors/hockey glass/football field
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as event schedule requires
Ability to meet deadlines and function in a fast-paced setting
Ability to lift/push/pull or otherwise move 30 lbs. unassisted
Able to communicate effectively in English
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Forklift certification not required but strongly preferred
