Help individuals live with dignity, independence, and security

Caregiver, Inc. is a leading Texas-based provider of services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We partner with the individuals we serve to design, deliver, and manage personalized support plans that help them live their best lives.

We are currently seeking a Representative Payee to join our team in a full-time, in-office role. In this position, you’ll play a vital role in managing financial resources for the individuals we support — helping ensure stability, compliance, and peace of mind.

Find Your Passion. Be Unique. Share It With Others.

At Caregiver, Inc., every employee is connected to a shared mission: creating a world-class experience for the people we serve. We work with integrity, transparency, accountability, and compassion because we know the individuals we support have choices — and we strive to be their provider of choice.

What You’ll Do
  • Issue weekly and monthly allowance checks for individuals
  • Process payments to vendors on behalf of individuals by due dates
  • Maintain documentation for all consumer expenditures
  • Issue Room & Board, Applied Income, and Foster Care payments to the company
  • Track and collect Room & Board payments from payors
  • Record deposits and monitor trust fund balances
  • Reconcile receipts, checks, and credit card activity
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support individuals’ financial needs
  • Work with SSA and DHS to establish and maintain Medicaid and SSI benefits
  • Support additional finance and administrative tasks as assigned
What You Bring

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM and ten-key by touch
  • Proficiency with Microsoft email systems and office software
  • Experience using office equipment such as copiers and scanners

Preferred

  • Representative Payee or Accounts Payable experience
  • One year of healthcare-related experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks, banking systems, or financial software

Benefits
  • Employer-provided bank accounts with cash advance options (no credit check required)
  • Up to $3,000/year in tuition reimbursement for eligible full-time employees. Limits apply.
  • $10,000 employer-paid life insurance for all employees
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Life Insurance options
  • 401(k) retirement plan
Ready to Apply?

If you’re looking for a stable, meaningful role where your financial and administrative skills help people live more independently, we encourage you to apply today.
