Job description

The Payroll Manager will report to the Director of HR Operations and supervises 1-2 team members,

overseeing Payroll and supporting a shared HRIS resource.

Role Expectations:

• Achieve seamless transfer of payroll data by delivering timely and accurate systems interfaces

with internal and external partners.

• Ensure compliance with federal/local legislation and internal Company policies.

• Serve as a partner to field leaders, ensuring user-friendly processes, guideline and

documentation.

• Serve as a partner to Finance and Controlling by understanding their business and functional

objectives and translating that to HRIS strategies that will support those objectives.

• Support local and global HR systems enhancements.

• Ensure team has clear objectives aligned with business outcomes, receives consistent feedback

and appropriate consequences based on their performance.

• Drive cross-functional development for team, focused on skill development and employee

engagement.

Immediate Critical Outcomes:

• Basic understanding of current systems, client groups, and business objectives (First 30 days)

• Establish relationships with team members and understand their current assignments, annual

objectives and development goals (First 30 days)

• Establish and implement feedback mechanisms to gauge progress and identify areas of

improvements. (First 90 days)

Critical Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR administration and payroll department

• Minimum 2 years of management experience

• Solid knowledge of SAP
