What is a remote partner enablement?

A Remote Partner Enablement role focuses on equipping business partners, such as resellers or distributors, with the tools, resources, and training they need to effectively sell and support an organization's products or services, all while working remotely. This role typically involves developing and delivering virtual training sessions, creating digital resource materials, and providing ongoing support to partners. The goal is to ensure partners are knowledgeable, confident, and empowered to drive mutual business success, even when collaborating from different locations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote partner enablement?

To excel as a Remote Partner Enablement Specialist, you need a background in sales enablement, partner management, and strong knowledge of the products or services being supported, often complemented by a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams is typically required. Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills are crucial for facilitating effective training and support in a virtual environment. These capabilities ensure partners are well-equipped, engaged, and aligned with company goals, driving mutual success and growth.

What are some common challenges faced in a remote partner enablement role, and how can they be addressed?

One common challenge in a Remote Partner Enablement role is effectively engaging and training partners across diverse time zones and cultures. Communication barriers and lack of face-to-face interaction can also make it harder to build strong relationships and ensure consistent messaging. To address these issues, professionals often leverage digital enablement platforms, schedule flexible training sessions, and use a variety of communication tools to foster collaboration and feedback. Proactively seeking input from partners and regularly sharing tailored resources can also help build trust and drive better engagement.

The Opportunity
The Senior Director, Client & Partner Education and Enablement provides leadership for customer and partner enablement across FICO's solution portfolio, with a primary focus on FICO Platform and Enterprise Fraud Solutions (EFS). This role owns the vision and execution of global learning programs that drive adoption, deepen product proficiency, and deliver measurable business outcomes for clients and partners, working cross-functionally and with other members of FICO's Integrated Learning Organization (ILO). This leader combines strategy with domain and technical depth, and can move seamlessly between vision, cross-functional leadership, and hands-on support of high-impact learning and enablement initiatives.
What You'll Contribute
  • Define and own the global strategy for client and partner education across FICO Platform and Enterprise Fraud Solutions (EFS), aligned to business, product, and customer adoption goals.
  • Develop scalable enablement frameworks that support direct and indirect clients, partners, processors, and internal stakeholders across all regions.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing global team of learning professionals, including trainers, instructional designers, learning consultants, and certification specialists.
  • Set the direction for certification and credential programs, ensuring they are current, credible, and clearly tied to client/partner readiness and business impact.
  • Act as an internal consultant to Sales, Customer Success, Product, Customer Delivery (Professional Services) and Customer Engineering on training and enablement for strategic initiatives and product launches.
  • Own the global training delivery model (onsite, virtual, self-paced, and partner-delivered) and ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Design and refine engagement policies, delivery frameworks, and discovery models that align client expectations, training scope, and business outcomes.
  • Set and execute strategies for applying AI and modern learning technologies to reinvent FICO's client and partner education, driving more personalized, data-informed, automated, and scalable enablement experiences.
  • Represent the Integrated Learning Organization (ILO) in cross-functional forums, events and GA/product launch processes, ensuring enablement assets are embedded in go-to-market and adoption plans.
  • Translate complex technical and domain concepts into practical, outcome-focused learning experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Use data and metrics to measure learning effectiveness, certification impact, customer readiness, and value realization; continuously improve programs based on telemetry and feedback.

What We're Seeking
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise software, technical enablement, learning leadership, consulting, and/or customer success.
  • Proven track record building and leading global teams and driving cross-functional initiatives to positive outcomes.
  • Strong background in enterprise platforms and/or fraud/financial crime solutions, with credibility in both technical and business discussions.
  • Experience designing and governing certification or credential programs.
  • Excellent customer-facing consulting, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
  • Transformation and innovation of learning paradigms and experiences with agentic AI.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels and to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Our Offer to You
  • An inclusive culture strongly reflecting our core values: Act Like an Owner, Delight Our Customers and Earn the Respect of Others.
  • The opportunity to make an impact and develop professionally by leveraging your unique strengths and participating in valuable learning experiences.
  • Highly competitive compensation, benefits and rewards programs that encourage you to bring your best every day and be recognized for doing so.
  • An engaging, people-first work environment offering work/life balance, employee resource groups, and social events to promote interaction and camaraderie.
