• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health needs, using established methods to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices that address each client’s specific challenges, goals, and recovery pathways.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, promoting open dialogue and utilizing established therapeutic modalities to guide clients through their recovery journeys.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to provide integrated care that meets the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Educate and support clients’ families about mental health challenges, fostering understanding and participation in the recovery process.
• Maintain confidential and accurate records in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client information effectively.

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and various other mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in fostering resilience and recovery in clients from all walks of life, including marginalized communities. Understanding the socio-cultural factors affecting mental health will be key to your effective practice.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.
• Active LMHC licensure in New York State is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, showcasing your ability to manage complex mental health scenarios.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques, with additional certifications or specialized training in particular areas of mental health being a plus.

This position offers an attractive compensation package, with an annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with your level of experience and professional qualifications.
