Description

Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p

Main Function:

  • Retrieves and distributes incoming department correspondence and distributes to remote associates.
  • Processes paper claims for remote associates
  • Manual credit card payment processing
  • Actively supports the mission, goals and objectives of the department and the Health System.
  • Completes other tasks assigned by Manager.

Experience:

  • Preferred familiarity with all payers, payer claim forms, and EOBs.
  • Required excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Required excellent public/patient relations skills.
  • Required strong organizational skills.
  • Required a willingness to learn and pursue excellence.
  • Preferred skills in using Outlook, Word, Excel; navigating websites; strong typing abilities
  • Preferred Filing and office clerical experience.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Pay Range: $17.61 - $21.00

Starting Pay: Based on experience
