At Uncommon, our Office Managers (OMs) play a central role on our School Operations Teams in ensuring that students, families, and staff have the information and resources they need to succeed. In our schools, we have three Office Managers: Office Manager โ€“ Communications, Office Manager - Data & Systems, and Office Manager โ€“ Finance. All Office Managers coordinate day-to-day operations systems and routines that allow the school to run seamlessly.

Responsibilities of the Office Manager โ€“ Communications include, but are not limited to, the execution of:

  • Serving as the primary contact for all of the schoolโ€™s constituents in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Enrollment of new students and re-enrollment of current students
  • Daily student attendance and daily student operational systems
  • Maintaining up-to-date student information and student files
  • Planning and supporting logistics and set up for school events and activities as needed

Responsibilities of the Office Manager โ€“ Data & Systems include, but are not limited to, the execution of:

  • Bill pay and accounting
  • Procurement and supply management for all student, staff, and event supplies
  • Maintaining accurate Student Information Systems for the school and local school system
  • Serving as the secondary contact for all of the schoolโ€™s constituents in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Planning and supporting logistics and set up for school events and activities as needed

Responsibilities of the Office Manager โ€“ Finance include, but are not limited to, the execution of the following for our largest K-8 campuses and High Schools:

  • Bill pay and accounting
  • Procurement and supply management for all student, staff, and event supplies
  • Planning and supporting logistics and set up for school events and activities as needed
