Role Description This is a full-time, fully remote Litigation Paralegal role. The firm is based in Carlsbad, CA, but all personnel work remotely. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys handling trust, will, and probate litigation matters from case intake through trial and post-judgment activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and preparing legal documents, organizing and managing case files, coordinating discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. The role involves conducting legal and factual research, summarizing documents and testimony, and managing deadlines, calendars, and court filings. The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys, clients, courts, and third parties to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient case progression.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in legal document preparation, including drafting correspondence, discovery requests and responses, and other case-related documents.
  • Experience with document review and file management, including organizing, indexing, and summarizing case materials and evidentiary records.

  • Hands-on experience preparing pleadings and motions, including formatting, cite-checking, and filing with state courts (California experience preferred).
