Expectations about Approach:

  • We live on theย Axis of Liberation. We are a YES to personal excellence, a YES to collective performance, and a YES to innovation & adaptability. We are a YES to life.

  • Continuous learning:ย Thereโ€™s always more to know out there, and youโ€™re hungry for it. You take time to skill up and prioritize learning our software, technologies, systems, and processes. You absorb and retain information from your colleagues and your work. If something doesnโ€™t make sense, you ask questions until it does, and you apply what you learn in your work.

  • Initiative and ingenuity:ย You leverage resources creatively to solve problems and dive right in to take a concept from idea to implementation, strategy to action. You often consult with others and ask questions when stuck, but you can also propose solutions within your lane of work and get things rolling without much guidance. You have theย ability to manage your time and work responsibilities with minimal oversight.ย Note: this is not a strategy role - managers own the โ€œhow,โ€ย and drive the implementation of strategy

  • High volume, high efficiency: Weโ€™re pretty energetic, engaged and focused here. Our work is scaling, and your job is to make it easy for our team members to do their jobs and project/program participants to navigate our body of work. You thoughtfully and efficiently delegate to other team members and/or receive support. You maintain systems to keep tasks from slipping through the cracks. Youโ€™re able to juggle competing demands and prioritize without sacrificing quality. You are able to work mindfully and efficiently with a remotely distributed team (asynchronous work hours) - meaning your communication skills are on point, and you take pride in providing clear, helpful information.ย

  • Ownership and resilience:ย You care deeply about meeting our objectives and getting results. You gather information, seek input, and drive work forward to the finish line. You think 3 (or 30) steps ahead to develop solutions, anticipate problems, and pivot when needed. You hold a high bar even when things are hectic and bounce back from setbacks by turning hurdles into learning opportunities. You take responsibility for your role on this team and its culture. You can see a project all the way through (not just to the 80% mark)

  • Adaptability and problem-solving: You are flexible and nimble and can work in the ebbs and flows of a fast-paced work environment. You are always ready to leverage emerging opportunities and address obstacles. You look for the root of simple and complex problems, so you can seek lasting solutions. You approach work with a spirit of โ€œyesโ€ and adapt as things change, which they often do. You donโ€™t get too attached to one way and donโ€™t take things personally when we need to pivot. You are able to receive and give feedback and are not conflict-averse.ย

How to apply:
We will accept rolling applications until the role is filled, AND we are eager to fill this role NOW. We encourage you not to wait toย apply, as we are checking updated applications daily. The first interviewย is conducted through a video-based platform.ย ย We will NOT read resumes only. We will not proceed with candidates that don't follow the instructions thoughtfully.
