Job description

Are you passionate about using data to achieve outcomes, building relationships, and fundraising? Join Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization whose vision is to provide access to decent, affordable housing for hard-working families.

We are seeking a Development/Fundraising Coordinator to play a vital role in managing our database, cultivating existing relationships, identifying new sources of funding, and running the day-to-day program operations. This position has the primary responsibility and oversight for the customer relations management (CRM) database, Charityproud.

The Development Coordinator is responsible for, or supports:
  • Database Management.
  • Donor Management, Cultivation, and Retention.
  • Fundraising Campaigns and Appeals.
  • Involvement in Campaigns.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and applying for grants.
  • Special Events, Meeting Coordination and support, and Other Functions.
  • Marketing & Communications support and coordination.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • At least two years of experience in an office environment.
  • One year of experience directly related to fundraising.
  • Excellent communication skills and judgment with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; experience with donor databases.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and design/marketing software (Canva, MailChimp) a plus.
  • Strong customer service ethic.

The ideal candidate has a background in fundraising, is detail-oriented, cultivates meaningful relationships, has a familiarity of non-profits, has a solid comfort with managing databases, and experience with sourcing of, applying for, and management of grants. Experience in marketing, communications, and social media a plus.

This is a fulltime in-office position, Monday โ€“ Friday, 9:00 A.M. โ€“ 5:30 P.M., with some work outside normal business hours for special events.

  • Pay Range: $24.00 โ€“ $28.00 per hour.
  • Benefits: Partial employer-paid health insurance, paid sick leave, and twelve paid holidays.
