Membership & Fundraising Executive

The Central Florida Council is hiring a full-time Non-Profit District Executive to oversee Scouting operations in the fast-growing Metro Orlando/ Seminole County area.

We are looking for a self-starting, motivated person who excels at building relationships and enjoys sales and marketing. This is an exciting career opportunity that is challenging and demands growth in the areas of fundraising, membership development, and volunteer recruitment.

District Executives are a diverse group, sharing a dynamic career offering independence, achievement, and stability. We are looking for someone to take ownership of growing the territory in the key areas of finance, membership, and volunteer development. This role requires the ability to work varied hours when necessary, including evening activities and weekend work to achieve objectives. If you want to make a difference and are energetic, thoughtful, highly personable in nature, have a positive attitude and value exceptional service, quality work, and personal relationships, this is the career for you.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • United States citizenship
  • Live and work in the Metropolitan Orlando area
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve territory goals
  • People-oriented, having the ability to work well with adult volunteers, community and business leaders, and representatives of other organizations
  • Able to work varied hours when necessary to achieve positive objectives
  • Non-profit, fundraising, sales or marketing experience is a plus
  • Good physical health, able to lift 25lbs.

Experience with Excel, Outlook, Google docs, and OneDrive
