Summary
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Program. The Child and Adolescent Psychologist will provide comprehensive behavioral health treatment for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model.
Open to Full Time & Part Time Candidates. Full Time Compensation $125,000/annual; prorated for part time positions. Part Time positions are also benefits eligible!
Must have NY license. Fully remote position.
Description
  • Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Participate in collaborative care team meetings
  • Develop collaborative relationships and referral agreements with community mental health providers
  • Monitor patient service quality and progress for referred patients
  • Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
  • Work closely with patient, family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
  • Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA)
  • Psychologist license in the state(s) practicing (NY license)
  • 2+ years of experience post licensure
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Previous experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents
  • Previous experience with crisis intervention
