Mind Wealth Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team as a Child Development Specialist. This full-time remote position focuses on providing essential early intervention services to young children with disabilities or developmental delays, helping them achieve critical developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of children to understand their individual needs and developmental statuses.
  • Collaborating with families to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that align with their goals and priorities.
  • Monitoring and assessing outcomes as a member of our dedicated team to ensure the effectiveness of the interventions being provided.
  • Providing guidance and support to families, offering them resources and skills to enhance their child's development.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to the Natural Learning Environment Practices when making recommendations and developing strategies.
  • Building rapport with children and families to create a nurturing and healthy learning environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations in service delivery.
  • Implementing the coaching model for teaching in natural environments, fostering a seamless learning experience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on young children, specifically infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. As a part of the Children's Services program, you will assist in addressing the critical developmental skills that children should acquire in their first three years of life. Your work will help children develop their physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills, ensuring they have the best possible start in life.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license to meet logistical needs.
  • Capability to adapt to different learning styles tailored to each child's treatment plan.
  • One year of relevant experience working with children in early intervention settings.
  • A demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
