Position Overview

Interior Anxiety Mental Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position focused on empowering children and families within the school setting. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in providing early intervention services to children with developmental delays or disabilities. Work Environment

This remote role allows for flexibility and eliminates the need for commuting, enabling our social workers to focus on their critical work without the logistical challenges of a traditional in-office environment. The LCSW will work closely with families and educational institutions, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support children’s growth in a holistic manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine children’s developmental needs and areas for support.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), tailored to each child's specific circumstances.
• Monitor and document the child's progress in a systematic manner, and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide hands-on support to families, equipping them with knowledge, skills, and resources to enhance their child's development.
• Utilize coaching techniques in natural environments to reinforce learning and encourage parent participation in the child's developmental journey.
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members to foster a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations governing social work practice and early intervention services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on infants and toddlers who exhibit disabilities or developmental delays, targeting physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills that typically emerge in the early years of life. The LCSW will engage with families to provide emotional and practical support while navigating educational and healthcare resources.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current LCSW licensure as required by the Texas Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license to facilitate travel to client meetings when necessary.
• Proficiency in adopting various learning styles to meet the diverse needs of children and families.
• One year of relevant experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices that promote learning in everyday settings.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
• Experience in providing family therapy or coaching within the context of early childhood development.
