Professionals who never shy away from complex problems. We hire the top 1% and let your talents soar.
Field Event Coordinator
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
The Role
The Field Event Coordinator will drive the logistics, coordination, and on-the-ground execution of our regional field events. You'll own the day-to-day details that make events run smoothly, and you'll support the Field and Integrated Marketing Lead on the coordination of our flagship IPO and Private Equity events. This is a great fit for someone early in their events career who wants hands-on experience across a full event calendar, working alongside Business Development, Partners, and a team of brand, content, and operations marketers.
What You'll Own
Event Logistics: Coordinate all logistical details for regional field events: venue booking, catering, AV, invitation strategy, registration, signage, and vendor communication.
Execution Support: Manage event timelines and checklists, ensuring every task is tracked and completed on schedule.
Flagship Event Support: Assist the Senior Manager, Field and Integrated Marketing Programs with coordination tasks for flagship events, including sponsor logistics and on-site support.
Vendor & Venue Coordination: Serve as the point of contact for venues, caterers, and other event vendors, managing contracts and day-of details.
On-Site Management: Represent Connor Group on-site at regional events, managing setup, run-of-show, and troubleshooting in real time.
Data & Reporting: Track event details and attendee data in Salesforce/CRM, supporting post-event reporting and follow-up.
Budget Tracking: Help track event spend against budget and flag discrepancies to the team.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience planning or coordinating events (professional or academic/extracurricular experience considered)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple event timelines simultaneously
  • Comfortable communicating with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year
  • Regional events run smoothly, on time, and within budget, with attendees having a seamless experience
  • Strong working relationships with vendors and venues that make future planning easier
  • Reliable support to the flagship event team, with logistics handled proactively and details rarely missed

Why Connor Group
