Job description

Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

McFarland Clinic is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work part time in our express care clinic in Marshalltown, Iowa. McFarland Clinic is an excellent working environment with very positive working relationships with primary care and specialty physicians. This position offers a minimum of 20 hours per week and a full complement of benefits.

Marshalltown, population 28,000, is a progressive city offering residents a comfortable, affordable place to raise a family. Marshalltown has all the elements of a great community - a historic downtown, excellent schools, and vibrant, diverse businesses. The central Iowa location offers an excellent balance between a quality lifestyle and easy access to amenities only found in urban areas. Hundreds of miles of trails, wineries, golf courses, auto racing and a casino, will be at your fingertips when you choose the Marshalltown lifestyle. The state-of-the-art YMCA/YWCA, aquatic center and the many parks offer great opportunities for recreation. Residents find easy drives to the major metropolitan centers of the Midwest through trouble-free access to Highway 30, a major east-west corridor in the state and Interstate 35.

Must have experience as a nurse practitioner/physician assistant and must be able to see patients of all ages. Graduation from an accredited program. Currently licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the state of Iowa. Currently certified or have the ability to be certified by the appropriate governing body.
