As we expand our presence in the Council Bluffs and Omaha area, we're looking for a results-driven sales professional to join our team.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Representative to drive construction equipment sales across the Council Bluffs and Omaha markets. In this role, you'll spend the majority of your time in the field-building relationships, prospecting new accounts, and helping customers find the right equipment solutions for their businesses.
What You'll Do
  • Prospect, develop, and grow new business opportunities with contractors and construction firms.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers in the Council Bluffs/Omaha region.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting new and used construction equipment.
  • Stay responsive to customer needs-including after-hours inquiries when required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activities in the CRM system.
  • Represent Rueter's values in every interaction to build trust and reputation in the marketplace.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven success in outside sales (construction, equipment, or related industries strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of construction equipment and jobsite needs is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a competitive, fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM and basic computer tools.
  • Valid driver's license required.
