BHS Workforce is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.

**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery Nurses!**
**Job Description:**
- Shift: Nights 7p - 7a, 36 hrs/week
- Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
- Weekends: Every 3rd weekend (floating required)
- Unit Info:
- Bed Size: 45 beds, 2 OR
- Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
- Patient Types: High Risk OB, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries
- Deliveries/Month: 150-350 depending on location
- Required Experience:
- Current/recent high-risk OB experience in a level I and level II trauma facility
- Expertise in labor delivery and postpartum/mother-baby care
- Experience with antepartum, C-section, and vaginal delivery
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certificate
- Experience using EPIC EMR
- Additional Requirements:
- No 1st-time travelers; at least one completed travel assignment in the past 12 months
- Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate
- Professional references from within the last 24 months
- Driverโ€™s license (documentation required)
