The Senior Project Manager manages key projects as part of our strategic business plan and other initiatives in support of the organization's current and future needs. The Senior Project Manager is a key member of our team that ensures that changes are delivered in alignment with stakeholder expectations and add business value. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project.

Accountabilities:

Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks:

  • Manage complex projects with cross-functional teams across business units and information technology, including:
  • Assuming overall responsibility for project execution and delivery, ensuring overall organizational objectives are met
  • Ensuring adherence to project management policies and procedures; providing coaching to project teams on project processes
  • Ensuring adherence to organizational procedures related to risk and controls, including overseeing risk and control assessments and any other regulatory deliverables as required
  • Providing leadership to project teams through all project phases, including initiation, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, post-production support, and closure
  • Managing project scope, schedule, and budget to approved baselines and following project change management procedures as needed
  • Working with project sponsors and teams to identify project scope
  • Developing project plans and schedules to identify and track progress on work required to deliver project scope
  • Developing and managing project budgets, including expense tracking and forecasting
  • Ensuring vendor contracts are completed in a timely manner and managing vendor tasks and performance on a day-to-day basis to ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with contract specifications
  • Ensuring operational readiness to perform business processes upon project implementation
  • Identifying, communicating, and managing project risks and issues
  • Communicating project progress across all levels of the organization, including project status reports and varying degrees of ad hoc communication, depending on the needs of the project; appropriately tailoring communication to the needs of stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
  • Managing project team member workloads and performance in a matrix environment, regularly communicating with, and providing feedback to resource managers
  • Stepping in to fill gaps where necessary to ensure effective project delivery
  • Manage deadlines while working with a high degree of independence
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Influence stakeholders and drive decision-making while devising and implementing solutions to problems to achieve identified project or program objectives
  • Work with organizational leadership to establish program strategies, scope, and roadmaps, providing expertise on program management and execution; manage and track program progress throughout the program lifecycle

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 7 - 10 years project management experience
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • PMP and CSM certifications preferred
  • Experience managing projects utilizing a Software Development Lifecycle in an Information Technology environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Visio, Word) and Microsoft Project
  • Working knowledge of agile workflow tools preferred
  • Ability to lead a team and influence others
  • Vendor management experience
  • Track record of successful project delivery
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated
  • Effective in a culture of teamwork, collaboration and accountability
  • Ability to influence others and be an agent for change

Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $102,762.00 - $121,373.00

This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.
