Job Summary

The Recruiting Manager is responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition from designing regional recruiting strategy, building and managing relationships with stakeholders, leading and inspiring the recruiting team, and individually recruiting to achieve hiring goals. The ideal candidate will drive continual innovation and enhancements in talent acquisition strategy and service delivery to enable our business to exceed its growth and revenue targets. As the leader of the Talent Acquisition organization, this role will have tremendous influence and impact on the future of hiring for Loenbro's Southwest region.  

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of regional recruiters supporting construction field operations, from craft and functional skillsets to field leadership.
  • Develop and execute sound hiring practices across the talent strategy for Loenbro's Southwest region.
  • Collaborate with other People leaders to execute best practices for the Recruitment and pre-employment experience.
  • Develops a highly competent, strategically focused team of professional recruiters that work cross-functionally within the Construction industry.
  • Identify hiring gaps and plan processes to support regional teams.
  • Support operational recruiters to influence change outside their span of control that will improve talent acquisition, workforce planning, and company retention.
  • Maintains knowledge of local state and federal laws, regulations, and best practices across all Loenbro's locations.
  • Tracks, audits, and presents on key recruiting KPIs and metrics.
  • Serve as an execution partner for talent analytics, informing process design, supporting implementations, and driving ongoing compliance standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the Talent Acquisition

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, business, or related discipline is preferred. Equivalent education and recruiting experience will be considered.  
  • 7+ years in construction talent management and workforce operations, with enterprise level experience in a high-volume environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent management, directly supervising a team of recruiters.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Experience driving recruiting and hiring results for a construction company.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience building engaging cultures focused on quality, performance effectiveness, and operational excellence through best practices, strong business acumen, collaboration, and successful partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
  • Must have the ability to drive positive changes and effectively manage partnerships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
