This is not a remote/hybrid position and will be based in a Turner office or project location.

Position Description:Contribute to development and refinement of 2D detailed documentation and 3D models for construction projects. Learn Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) tools to produce accurate and efficient drawings that align with contract documents and project requirements.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply basic Building Information Modeling (BIM) detailing principles and practices.
  • Assist in creating, modifying, and maintaining 2D detailed documentation, drawing, and 3D models with direct supervision.
  • Learn to interpret and translate design documents into model requirements.
  • Participate in introductory training sessions for BIM tools and workflows.
  • Contribute to preparation of basic project documentation and reports.
  • Attend BIM meetings to understand construction sequencing and its relationship to BIM detailing.
  • Learn relevant building codes, local jurisdiction requirements (AHJs), and processes.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
