What is a recruiter?

Recruiters are professionals who help organizations find and hire suitable candidates for job openings. They may work internally within a company's human resources department or externally for staffing agencies. Recruiters source candidates, review resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate the hiring process. Their goal is to match qualified individuals with roles that fit their skills and the employer's needs. Effective recruiters build strong networks and maintain relationships with both employers and job seekers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Recruiter, strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, and a background in human resources or business are essential, often supported by a bachelor’s degree.
