Storage Keepers perform a critical function at Haidilao. The Storage Keeper performs oversight and storekeeping duties involving the receipt, recording, storage, inventory control, and issuance of equipment and supplies. Receives, stores, and issues supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the store.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience expediting, verifying, and/or authorizing orders for materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Hardworking, professional dedication, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a strong teamwork spirit
  • At least 1 year of experience in food receiving, storage, and ordering

Education / Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • California Food Handler Certificate 
  • Must have a valid CA driver’s license
  • Previous warehouse working experience is preferred  
  • Fluent in English / Preferred languages: Mandarin

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and deliver items weighing up to 20-40 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate with internal and external personnel
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach for products and items
  • Ability to work in various temperature environments, for example, low temperature in the refrigerator and high temperature in the cooking area  
  • Ability to attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the daily operation of the storeroom, properly stores and rotates all stock, and is involved transportation of heavy goods
  • Checks each item on the invoice against the restaurant order guide, weighing, counting, verifying prices on each item, and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of delivery
  • Knowledge of the appropriate stock levels for any given item kept in inventory, and the amount of time the item will be fresh
  • Notifies the person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved
  • Ensure that daily incoming and outgoing data are accurately recorded into the SAP system
  • Assists in conducting month-end inventories
  • Maintaining daily sanitation of storage/work areas
  • Cleaning and reorganizing storage racks, labeling, and/or updating stock levels after cleaning
  • Adherence to departmental and property standards and procedures
  • Work as a team, assisting all team members with their needs and inquiries
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
