Purchasing Assistant

INFINIUM Wall Systems is a family-owned turn-key manufacturer of interior Glass Wall Systems headquartered in Strongsville, OH. Position Summary

The Purchasing Assistant supports the Purchasing Department by preparing and processing purchase orders based on vendor quotes and project requirements. This role works closely with Project Managers, Engineering, and Operations to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials, labor, and services. This is an entry-level position with training provided.

INFINIUM has an immediate need for a conscientious, hardworking and dedicated Purchasing Coordinator to join our team to perform the following functions:

- Create and issue purchase orders based on vendor quotes and internal direction
- Translate project requirements from Project Managers into accurate purchasing data
- Enter and code purchase orders to the correct job, cost code, and cost class
- Review supplier acknowledgements and match them to issued purchase orders
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and vendor transactions
- Assist in tracking material, freight, and installation-related purchases
- Communicate internally with Project Managers, Shipping, and Engineering regarding purchasing needs
- Support vendor follow-up to confirm pricing, delivery timelines, and order accuracy
- Perform general data entry and administrative support within the Purchasing Department


Qualifications

- No prior experience required; training provided
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email)
- Ability to follow instructions and work within defined processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
