Position Overview

In this role, you will support the sourcing, scheduling, and delivery of both domestic and imported materials. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to help ensure products meet expectations for quality, cost, and delivery timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of orders
  • Manage delivery schedules for materials, tooling, and related equipment
  • Monitor purchased products for quality issues and late deliveries
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Assist with daily purchasing functions, including covering when the Purchasing Supervisor is unavailable
  • Coordinate truckload pickups with domestic suppliers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain smooth operations


What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • College degree preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of purchasing or related experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints or schematics (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage conflict effectively
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to stay composed under pressure
