Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect all incoming raw materials to confirm all requirements are met and complete Incoming Inspection Report, record information for meat items in USDA Meat Log.

  • Pull a small sample of any new supplier lot numbers for evaluation and a large sample of any product with a size or weight requirement in the specification for an audit.

  • If raw material does not meet specification requirements, reject product or place on hold.

  • Use large sample pulled to perform an audit, record the information on the correct audit form and send out results to R&D Director, Purchasing and QA Management.

  • Conduct a Raw Material Cutting weekly.

  • Match COA's received prior to product delivery to any product delivered daily and record in COA Books.

  • You spend a large part of your time working with Warehouse Employees and Supervisors. You must have the ability to communicate with all departments and/or Senior Management.

  • You must have the patience to gather information, listen and check before making judgments.
