This role will provide administrative and operational support to the purchasing team, helping ensure purchase orders, vendor communications, invoices, GL coding, documentation, and purchasing records are accurate and completed in a timely manner. This role is compensating up to $28/hr.

- Research and resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, invoices, shipments, or deliveries
- Maintain accurate vendor and product information
- Assist with obtaining quotes and comparing vendor pricing
- Coordinate with Accounting, Warehouse, Operations, and other internal departments
- Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and purchasing trackers
- Assist with inventory and supply tracking as needed
- Maintain organized purchasing and accounting documentation
- Assist with month-end purchasing and invoice-related activities as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the purchasing department
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
- 1-3 years of purchasing, procurement, accounts payable, accounting, or related administrative experience
- Experience with GL coding is required or strongly preferred
- Understanding of general ledger accounts, cost centers, and proper expense classification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working with an ERP, purchasing, or accounting system preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, or supply chain experience is a plus
