Job Description:

As the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Architect, you will serve as the strategic technology leader responsible for defining and governing the enterprise architecture supporting Trade Promotion Management capabilities across the organization. You will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Channel, Marketing, Supply Chain, and IT leadership to ensure technology investments enable profitable growth, simplify commercial processes, and provide a scalable foundation for future innovation.

You will own the long-term technology vision and architectural roadmap for Trade Promotion Management while partnering with implementation partners and internal delivery teams to ensure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, business objectives, and industry best practices.

This role serves as the primary technology authority for TPM, driving architecture decisions, data strategy, integrations, governance, and continuous optimization while ensuring the platform evolves to support the organization's commercial transformation strategy.

This role is central to establishing a modern, data-driven commercial platform that enables better planning, forecasting, financial management, retail execution, and AI-powered decision making.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Define and own the enterprise architecture, technical strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Trade Promotion Management capabilities.

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service leaders to translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions.

  • Serve as the internal technology architect and trusted advisor throughout implementation and post-deployment, ensuring long-term platform success.

  • Partner closely with System Integrators to review architecture, challenge design decisions, validate best practices, and ensure high-quality solution delivery.

  • Design scalable solution architectures supporting trade planning, promotion management, fund management, claims, deductions, forecasting, analytics, retail execution, and financial reconciliation.

  • Define enterprise integration patterns across Oracle ERP, CRM, Consumer Goods Cloud, Data Cloud, SAP Pricing, Customer master, Product master, Forecasting, and downstream financial systems.

  • Establish data governance, master data strategy, and data quality standards to ensure accurate and trusted commercial information across the enterprise.

  • Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and maintainability while minimizing technical debt.

  • Evaluate new platform capabilities, AI innovations, and emerging technologies to continuously improve commercial effectiveness.

  • Drive architecture governance through design reviews, solution standards, documentation, and technology decision frameworks.

  • Partner with business and IT leaders to prioritize enhancements, technical investments, and future capabilities based on measurable business value.

  • Lead technical vendor engagement, architecture reviews, release planning, and platform governance across internal teams and external partners.

  • Champion reusable architecture patterns, API-first integration strategies, and cloud-native design principles.

  • Establish architecture KPIs and success measures focused on business adoption, system reliability, financial accuracy, user experience, and operational efficiency.

  • Provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams while mentoring solution architects, analysts, and development teams.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree (and/or an equivalent technical degree with four years of experience). Master's degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise commercial technology solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience architecting Trade Promotion Management, Consumer Goods, Sales, Revenue Growth Management, or commercial planning solutions.

  • Experience serving as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Technical Lead on large enterprise transformation programs.

  • Proven experience partnering with System Integrators to deliver complex enterprise implementations.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration, cloud architecture, API strategies, data management, and security best practices.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Deep expertise in Trade Promotion Management processes including promotion planning, trade funds, accruals, claims management, deductions, settlement, forecasting, and post-event analysis.

  • Experience with Salesforce Trade Promotion Management, Consumer Goods Cloud, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, or comparable TPM platforms.

  • Strong understanding of Revenue Growth Management, retail execution, customer planning, pricing, rebates, and commercial finance processes.

  • Experience integrating TPM platforms with Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, customer master, product master, planning, forecasting, pricing, and financial systems.

  • Proven ability to define scalable enterprise architecture across multiple business domains and technology platforms.

  • Strong background in cloud architecture, API management, event-driven integration, middleware, and modern enterprise technologies.

  • Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with commercial transformation strategies.

  • Strong understanding of data architecture, master data management, governance, analytics, and AI-enabled decision support.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive and business audiences.

  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills with the ability to challenge implementation partners while building trusted relationships across business and IT.

  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action who balances innovation, governance, technical excellence, and business value.

  • Hands-on architect with a passion for building scalable, maintainable, and future-ready enterprise platforms that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
