Job description

Redefine the future of live entertainment tech

Welcome to vivenu, the global leader in event ticketing tech and one of the world’s fastest-growing live entertainment tech firms. We are transforming event ticketing for global leaders like the Grammys, the Golden Globes, Stanford University and the Hockenheimring, turning what was once a simple transaction into a strategic business advantage. Backed by over $65 million in funding, our platform empowers event organizers to own their brand experience, unlock deep data insights, and seamlessly integrate ticketing into their digital infrastructure.

With six offices worldwide and growing, we deliver a customizable, intuitive solution and industry‑leading support that simplify even the most complex ticketing challenges – helping organizers deliver exceptional experiences and drive real growth.

Join us and build the future of live entertainment.

As a Senior Account Executive - Live Entertainment, you will:
  • Shape vivenu’s strategy in the live entertainment vertical, working closely with leadership to identify where cutting‑edge tech meets high‑demand events.
  • Hunt and convert target accounts – including festival organizers, touring promoters, concert operators, and large‑scale live event organizations.
  • Translate industry empathy into results: understand the high‑stakes realities of on‑sales, VIP experiences, secondary market challenges, and complex promoter settlements.
  • Lead high‑impact discovery and product conversations that demonstrate ROI, operational scalability, and the power of data ownership.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across C‑suite executives, tour managers, marketing directors, and venue operations teams.
  • Build and promote long‑term partnerships, ensuring vivenu becomes the primary technology backbone for the world’s most exciting live tours and events.
  • Stay at the forefront of live event innovation, while maintaining a sharp pulse on competitors and market trends.
What you will need to succeed in this role:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Music Business, Sports/Entertainment Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of customer‑facing or sales experience, ideally in high‑growth SaaS environments or the live entertainment industry.
  • Experience selling technology or enterprise solutions to promoters, festivals, or venues – or hands‑on experience working within these environments.
  • You have early‑stage DNA, ideally as a founding member or one of the first 10 employees in a startup where you excelled at creating your own path and enjoyed building the plane while flying it.
  • Experience in digital consultancy or transformation, particularly in helping organizations adopt new technologies or optimize digital strategies.
  • Deep passion for the live experience and a drive to empower the organizers who bring fans and artists together.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to connect technology to purpose.
  • A consultative, disciplined approach to sales, with the grit required to win in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven industry.
  • Commitment to growth through learning — from industry summits to festival operations workshops.

$240,000 - $280,000 a year

The approximate compensation range for this role in New York, NY includes On Target Earnings (OTE) of $240,000-$280,000. Factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications will determine the final compensation for this role, and commission is not guaranteed.
