THE JOB
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations for a VIP Nation, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and shipping/receiving of physical products, merchandise, and touring inventory. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, logistics coordination, and maintaining a safe, organized facility that supports VIP Nation tours. The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with an understanding of the unique demands of live touring. Please note: This person must commute to our warehouse in Van Nuys on a hybrid basis.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of road cases and merchandise.
  • Coordinate with Project managers to ensure fulfillment priority deadlines are met.
  • Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality standards
  • Ensure accurate inventory control using warehouse management systems
  • Coordinate time-sensitive shipments tied to tours
  • Maintain clean, organized storage systems to protect fragile and collectible items
  • Monitor inbound shipments from manufacturers and vendors
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and compliance procedures
  • Manage warehouse supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate restocking supplies

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • 3-5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in music, entertainment, or merchandise fulfillment preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and shipping software
  • Ability to manage high-volume periods
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy inventory (up to 50 lbs)
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for music and familiarity with music distribution workflows
  • Experience handling collectible or fragile inventory (limited editions)
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Flexible schedule during peak summer months
